Server Problems

analyzingdiets.com

Thanks for reading my Medifast Blog. And I apologize for the lateness of this post, apparently my hosting company decided to shut down for a while without making an announcement, I was unable to post anything.

So today was weigh in and I was gunning for 5 pounds this week, I have religiously walked 1 hour everyday this week and not cheated on my diet at all so let’s see if I did it. Last weigh in day I was at 213 as most of you know I started out at 247. Well this week I weighed in at 207! Thats right! Not 5lbs but 6 BooYahh! I was so excited when I looked at the scale, I did a double take, then I got off the scale and made sure it was on 0, then got on again and Yep! 6lbs. I am so close to breaking that 200 mark I can taste it, literally. So that makes a grand total of 40 lbs I have lost since the 5th of November, a little over 2 months.

This morning I was in a great mood, wouldn’t you be lol. I ate a bowl of peach flavored oatmeal for breakfast and had a cup of green tea. After breakfast I grabbed a granola bar and headed off to the park to walk around the lake, I am used to doing one hour now, so I am picking up my pace a bit. It was a beautiful day, and there was already people showing up for picnics and birthday parties with the kids. A few people were fishing but not having any luck when I asked.

After my walk I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few items, I ate my granola bar on the way there. After doing grocery shopping and putting things away I jumped in the shower real quick. I keep thinking ahead trying to estimate when I might make my goal of 100 lbs total loss. I figure another 3-4 months. I have a doctors check up next Friday, and I will be leaving work a little early. My appointment is at 3:30pm, it is real close to where I work so I will be leaving work at 3:00pm.

For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup, with Tabasco and some multi-grain crackers. After lunch I did some laundry and straightened up the house a little bit. Sat down to watch some TV but after about 30 minutes of channel surfing and not finding anything I was interested in, I went and got on the Internet a little bit and tried to learn something. I see that Apple has released their I-Phone you can read more about it here. I love apple products, I have a Ipod and a I-Mac, the quality and level of service for the items is exceptional. I doubt I can afford the I-phone though.

For my 4th Medifast plan meal I had a dutch chocolate shake with some Davinci Sugar-free Cherry syrup in it and a little crushed ice blended with it. For my lean and green meal I am going to do salmon on the grill outside since the weather is so nice and I think I will have some steamed broccoli and cauliflower with it.

For my last meal of the day I had another shake. This time I had a strawberry creme. I will see you all tomorrow thanks for stopping in and reading Analyzing Medifast Diet. Take Care!

The Medifast Diet Book “The Secret is Out”

analyzingdiets.com

As you all know I recently finished The Medifast Book! “The Secret is Out” and wanted to give you a review of what I thought about it.

The book starts out giving some factual data on the obesity problem that so many Americans are facing today. A whopping 68% of adults today are overweight and 30% are obese. The stats come to us from the American Obesity Association. Those are staggering facts and are a result of being exposed to huge portion sizes and an overabundance of sugar and fat content.

Lisa Davis, Ph.D., a clinician at the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center and researcher at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Brad MacDonald, the CEO of Medifast had the most input in putting this book together. In it you will find a realistic approach to weight loss taking into consideration the internal, external, physical, and emotional aspects of the problem.

There are several weight plans covered depending on what medical conditions you may have be it heart problems, diabetes or joint problems. It covers the plan for women and men separately. I liked the part where it debunked a lot of the fad diets that are on the market today. Some parts of the book became boring especially the medical facts, but for some, those parts might be very interesting.

Also the thing I like about the book are the numerous testimonials, I don’t know about you but when I read other peoples stories it tends to have a very positive effect on me and gets me motivated. Some of the info and stats in the book are taken from the movie “Fast Food Nation” Have you seen this movie yet? It will definitely open your eyes to the crap that a lot of people are eating.

Overall I thought the book was very informative, and being such a fan of the Medifast Plan and their products, it was a good motivator and addition to my book collection. If you are thinking about trying the diet out and have just not made up your mind yet, I highly recommend that you get this book.

Day of Rest

Thank you for reading Analyzing Medifast Diet.com

What a lazy day it is today, I slept late and it felt great. Sleeping late for me is 9:00am, so for all of you who sleep till noon, you will think that is still early. I used to do that when I was younger, but you seem to grow out of that the older you get. I started my day off with a bowl of maple & brown sugar oatmeal. I decided to go to the park today for my exercise and walk around the lake, I will have to do 2 laps around the lake I think to equal an hour, I also took some old crackers I had to feed the ducks.

The walk was great, I ended up doing 1 hour and fifteen minutes, my record. I ate a granola bar after I did my walk, and ran by the store on the way home. I also stopped off at the movie rental place and grabbed a movie for tonight. When I got back home I jumped in the shower real quick and fixed myself a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup (spiced up of course).

I have finished the “The Medifast Book!
” The Secret is Out” and wanted to give you a review of it, I wanted to do the review on a separate post under a different category.

I worked on the review and messed around on the Internet pretty much most of the day. My 4th meal of the day was a French vanilla shake with a little DaVinci Sugar-Free Butter Rum flavoring in it. Yummy! Straightened up around the house and finally decided to take down the Christmas Tree (Yes I am late).

For my lean and green meal I fixed a 7 oz tuna steak marinated in soy sauce, ginger and green onions and seared it in a pan on both sides, where it was still extra rare in the middle. I buy sushi grade tuna, so if I wanted to, I could eat it raw. Do you like sushi? Along with the tuna steak I had some Chinese Napa cabbage steamed in chicken broth. I watched the movie Lords of War with Nick Cage, it was about a illegal arms runner and was pretty good. The dinner was excellent, you should try it.

For my final Medifast meal I had a cup of cappucino since I was still a little full from dinner. I hope you all have a great weekend and check back tomorrow for Weigh In Day! Thanks for reading my Medifast Blog. Take Care

My Favorite Day

Medifast Diet - lose the weight

Thanks for stopping in and checking out my Medifast Blog.

I love Fridays, like most people do haha. I woke up a little late today so had to get ready quickly. Started the day off with a bowl of peach oatmeal and a cup of green tea. Not much time for anything else so I packed up my stuff and headed off to work.

The morning was very slow and I had plenty of time to mess around on the internet and answer some emails. For my midmorning meal I had a dutch chocolate shake. We had our meeting today right before lunch and it was boring as I expected it to be. Some things that were discussed were new Interest rates, and a new kind of savings account and service. You know very exciting stuff, there were also some new flyer’s to hand out.

For lunch today the Medifast crew sat together as usual, I had a bowl of beef stew with some Tabasco and multi-grain crackers, while one of my friends had a strawberry creme shake and the other some creamy tomato soup. I was happy to hear that the first person I recommended had placed a second order of the Medifast Plan. I feel that if you make it to a second order you are definitely serious about loosing weight.

I get some emails asking how much the Medifast plan is. There are different packages, I usually get the one month supply and it costs me $275 for 143 meals about the same that I was spending on regular food per month. They also have a 2 week package for $140. But like I have said in the past, if you were told that you will loose wait, the money is not important. You can’t put a price on your health.

The rest of the day crawled by and I was exhausted and glad when it came time to leave. When I arrived home I had another shake and went out and did my walk. I did another hour, and had a quick shower when I got back. I worked a bit on the Blog and then sat down to watch a little TV. Nothing interesting on, I hate when it is between seasons.

For my lean and green meal I tried out one of my recipes I had found on the Medifast Diet. I had Cheesy Mushroom Chicken, I moistened a chicken breast in 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and seasoned it with some lemon pepper and garlic salt. I seared it until it was brown and then added 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms and a 1/4 cup of onion. Poured 1/2 cup of chicken stock over the top and then baked in the oven @ 350 for 30 min. Sprinkled with low fat pepperjack cheese. It turned out great. I also had a small salad.

Nothing much else to mention the rest of the night. For my last meal of the day I had a caramel nut granola bar. Thanks so much for stopping by Analyzing Medifast Diet. I appreciate the time that you spend to come and read what I have to say.

Smile

analyzingdiets.com

Welcome to my Medifast Blog, I appreciate the visit very much!

I woke up with a smile on my face, because no one would care if I woke up with a frown haha. I started my day off with a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and a cup of green tea. My legs were a little sore this morning, I wonder if it was from the walk. That’s what I call good pain, If I used some muscles that I haven’t exercised in a while. Before I knew it, it was time to leave for work. I grabbed my water bottle and threw some Medifast Plan products in my backseat. I never know how busy it is going to be at work so I always take an assortment of items just in case, and I am glad I do that, I will tell you why later.

For my midmorning meal today I had a french vanilla shake. Work today was steady to slow, we were all reminded about the employee meeting tomorrow, this is the meeting that got canceled before the New Years holiday. I expect it will be boring as usual, rumor is it is about the promotions for the first quarter of the year. I am so excited haha.

Lunch break I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup with Tabasco and crumbled up multi-grain crackers, the reason why I said I am glad I have extra products in my car is because one of my friends left out of the house in a rush and forgot her lunch, so luckily I had extra and she took a shake from me. She said she would pay me back tomorrow. No problem! Glad to help out! What’s better than to give someone the best Clinically Proven Medifast Meal Replacement Diet.

The rest of the day at work was uneventful except for a screaming customer, that happens every once in a while and is pretty damned funny when it does. People really don’t realize what an ass they are making out of their selves when they do this. Well that was enough comedic relief for the day. On the way home today I ate a oatmeal raisin granola bar. People ask me do I get tired of the same meals over and over, and the answer is Yes! It does become old after a while but that’s if you just eat the products as they come. Check out some of the recipes that I have posted on the Blog here and learn ways to change things up and it helps a lot. The DaVinci Sugar free Syrup is a nice addition to the shakes.

When I arrived home, I went for my 1 hour walk, I went a different route today and saw a person I see at the grocery store a lot. I had no idea they lived that close to me haha. It is funny how we get so caught up in our lives that we don’t realize what is going on so close around us. I had received a email from my Aunt today, she said she was doing fine and that everyone was trying to get back into their routines. I know that feeling!

For my lean and green meal today I had a 5oz pork cutlet and some steamed green beans. I don’t feel so scared eating pork as I do chicken and beef, at least until I here of a mad pig disease or the pig flu. Watched some TV and vegged on the couch a bit. The rest of the evening not much exciting to talk about. For my final meal of the day I had a banana pudding. I will see you all tomorrow. As always I appreciate the visit to Analyzing Medifast Diet.

Positive or Negative

analyzingdiets.com

Welcome to Analyzing Medifast Diet, appreciate your visit.

I choose to wake up positive today! I watched a movie recently called “What the Bleep Do We Know” and found it fascinating. It basically talks about how we create our day everyday. For instance if we are negative all the time saying I have terrible luck or I’m Fat, Ugly, A Failure or whatever the case, that will become our reality. And on the other hand if we say I’m so lucky, I am thin, in good health, prosperous whatever then that will become our reality. I highly recommend this movie if you can find it.

I woke up this morning and ate a bowl of peach flavored oatmeal, and had a cup of green tea. I am really excited about 2007, because of my weight situation, it really feels like a new beginning. I wont know how to act being a smaller person, maybe my social life will improve also, I hope. Work was slow in the am, I had plenty of time to mess around on the Internet and answer some emails. For my mid morning meal I had a strawberry creme shake, the rest of the morning was truly boring.

I am wearing my new clothes that I got for Christmas and hopefully will be shrinking out of these in the next month or so. My waist size when I started the Medifast Plan was 40? and now it is 36?. It truly is a great feeling. For lunch today the Medifast group sat together, I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup, while my friends had shakes. I read in the news recently that the government is almost ready to authorize cloned animals and milk into our food supply and the kicker was that they don’t have to identify whether it was cloned or not, you can read about it Here. It truly is scary to me, it is not natural I mean where do you think the mad cow disease came from? Feeding cow to cows. I think it is terribly wrong and gives me even more incentive to be a vegetarian. I have not given up on that idea at all.

The rest of the day crawled by. I had a Granola bar on the way home for my 4th meal of the day. I felt kind of tired today, but forced myself to do my walk, once I got started I felt energetic again and did the hour I vowed to move up to. When I got back had a quick shower and plopped down on the couch for a bit, I fell asleep and woke up at 7:00pm crap. So something quick for dinner I decided to do my grilled chicken salad. 7oz boneless skinless chicken breast on a small camp stove on the patio, seasoned with little garlic salt and onion powder, chopped up on a bed of mixed greens with 2 tbs of low-fat ranch.

Got on the Internet and read the news and caught up on some of my regular websites I read. My last meal of the day was a cup of Medifast Cappuccino, and not long after that I went to bed and read a book. The book I have been reading is “The Medifast Book! , The Secret is Out” , It has what doctors think of several different diets, plans for different medical conditions and testimonials. It keeps me motivated. When I finish the book I will do a proper review and post it up here on the Medifast Blog. See you tomorrow!

Back in the Routine

analyzingdiets.com

I’m back, ready to get settled and back in the groove of my life. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve and Day. Mine was nice hung out with some friends, set off some fireworks and had a really good time. I guess the biggest thing as far as this Medifast Blog is concerned is that another weigh in happened on New Years Eve and you all are probably wondering what the results were. Well the last weigh in I had came from 247 all the way down to 216, and this past Sunday when I weighed in, I was down to 213. Only 3 this week! Damn holidays, I was kind of disappointed, but makes me more determined this week to work extra harder and get more off. How I will attempt that? I will not miss an exercise this week and I am moving it up to 1 hour. My goal is to at least be down 5 more lbs by next Sunday.

I dread going back to work today, Holidays and long weekends make me feel this way, but as I have said before the bills are not paying themselves. So I dragged my butt out of bed and grabbed a quick shower. Had a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and a cup of green tea. I have a lot of email to catch up on, I did not touch my computer much recently. Loaded up my junk threw some Medifast products in the backseat and took off.

The morning at work was slow, I had a chance to take care of a few emails, and we all talked about what we did for New Years. I had to listen to all the I got so drunk stories, like it is a competition to see who was the stupidest. I don’t understand that game. Mid morning I had a banana creme shake. I finally got around to opening up my new order of Medifast, so I will be set for another month. The rest of the morning was pretty much uneventful other than we were told that the meeting that we postponed will be held on Friday, I am excited haha can’t you feel the sarcasm.

For lunch today I had a bowl of creamy tomato soup with some Tabasco and crumbled up multi-grain crackers in it. The Medifast crew set together, the other two are very happy on the Medifast Plan and are seeing results that they are very proud of. I’m telling you, if you stick to this plan, you WILL loose weight. But you have to follow the plan like clockwork.

The rest of the day went off without a hitch and slowly also might I add. I ate a caramel nut granola bar on the way home and stopped off at the store to get some groceries. When I arrived home I put the groceries away and decided to go for my walk, I am going to do 1 hour from now on and try and pick up my pace. After the exercise I took a quick shower and decided to straighten up a bit. It has warmed up a bit here, nice to see after all of the rain we have had. Caught up on the Blog and finished emptying out my email box.

For my lean and green meal today, I had a turkey burger and a 1 1/2 cups of steamed broccoli. Watched a little TV after dinner, but there was not much to see. I got back on the Internet and studied a bit and drank a orange creme shake. Not long after that I went to bed and read a book.

Thanks for checking back in to Analyzing Medifast Diet. May all of your dreams be realized in 2007! Goodnight.

Lose up to 20 lbs. in 30 days

Nice Day Off

http://analyzingdiets.com Happy New Year

Welcome to Analyzing Medifast Diet thank you for stopping by.

I slept late today and it felt nice to do so. For someone who really doesn’t have much to do other than work I still seem to be very busy. When I woke up I had a cup of green tea and a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal. I have found that I cannot drink coffee anymore. Now when I drink coffee, it gives me the shakes so bad I can’t stand it. But I guess that is a good thing.

I went to my favorite park this morning and walked around the lake, it was a cool crisp morning and nice weather for a change. I had a fruit and nut granola bar not too long afterwards. When I got back home and had a shower I caught up on the Blog. I don’t always have the time to post day to day so I will write short notes on paper and transcribe them to the Blog after the fact, thats why you sometimes see a delay in the posts. Although I think I do well staying up with it.

I just want to let you all know that I will probably not make a post here the next couple of days, unless I get a wild hair lol. But I will be back at it as usual after the holidays. For lunch today I had some creamy tomato soup with some tofu in it. Have you ever ate tofu? It is bean curd and basically takes on the taste of whatever you cook it in.

I have all of the things I need for my new years dinner, I am making steamed cabbage with some pork bouillon in it. And also some black eye peas and a 5 oz portion of grilled halibut, I am eating a smaller portion of fish due to the 2 vegetables. It’s kind of a tradition for me and wouldn’t feel right unless I ate that, I’m sure it is not breaking my diet by much anyways.

For my afternoon meal I had a Medifast Plan strawberry creme shake. I raked up some leaves and pine straw today in the yard, have I ever said I hate pine trees? They are messy, get struck by lightning often and are shallow rooted. Not Good! For my lean and green meal tonight I did the easy grilled chicken salad. My staple.

After dinner I caught up on news on the Internet and the thing that caught my eye was that Saddam Hussein had been killed. Fitting end if I say so myself, and lord knows I don’t want to get political here, there is plenty of those Blogs already.

Before bed I had a banana pudding from the newest order that I received over the holidays. Yummy! Well I will end now and want to wish everyone a big and see you after the Holidays! Have a safe one!

Don’t drink too much! : )

Thanks for reading my Medifast Blog and I hope all of your dreams are fulfilled in 2007!!

Too Busy to Lose Weight? 1 Free Week of Medifast.

Start the Long Weekend

analyzingdiets.com

Welcome to Analyzing Medifast Diet.

Feeling great this morning! Maybe the start of a long weekend has something to do with it. : ) We have a meeting today and I’m sure it will be busy, or maybe not, you never can tell. I’m thinking check cashing time for those who get paid at the end of the month, and the liquor stores will be full. And yes I am going to have a drink for New Years, Yes it goes against my diet, but I am not going to get sloppy drunk. Some friends have invited me over for a celebration and some work people have also invited me, so I think I will make an appearance at both.

I had a bowl of peach oatmeal to start the day off. I received an email on an article I wrote that basically said there is something that you are not sharing with us that allowed you to loose the weight you have. I guess she or he thought surely it can’t be that easy to loose weight, and let me say that it has not been easy by a long shot. There have been times where I just wanted to say screw it I am destined to be fat and give it up, but that would be the cop out. I admit that I am a semi private person, and sometimes don’t share all of my thoughts and feelings. But it has not been a cakewalk by far. As far as doing anything different than I have explained on this Blog. Nope! If you stick with the plan as prescribed the weight can’t do anything but come off. But the trick is to don’t give in to the temptations and just make up your mind whole heartedly and stick with it.

The morning at work was slammed busy from top to bottom. The meeting was canceled and a handout was passed around instead, we will have a meeting after the first to learn what direction we will be headed in next. For my midmorning meal I had a dutch chocolate shake.

The morning zipped by like I had been abducted by aliens (missing time lol). There was no time for lunch so I munched on a Caramel nut granola bar in between customers. The rest of the day went the same, and I had to stay late to catch up on my drawer. Everybody was throwing “Have a Happy New Years” to each other and giving hugs. I stopped by the store and bought a bottle of wine for New Years Eve, tomorrow at the liquor store is going to be a madhouse I’m sure, so I decided to get it done now.

When I arrived home I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup spiced up with some multi-grain crackers. A friend of mine let me borrow Hide and Seek with Robert DeNiro, so I will probably watch that tonight. I went for a walk when I got home for about 45 minutes and was attacked by a rabid chihuahua. lol He followed me for a half a block trying to bite my leg. I wanted to drop kick him after a while, but restrained.

For my lean and green meal I had a 7oz salmon fillet in the oven spiced with lemon pepper, and a cup and a half of steamed broccoli. Yummy! Watched the movie and it scared the crap out of me lol, the ending surprised me, I wont give it away for those of you who haven’t seen it, although it is a pretty old movie. To end the night off I had a french vanilla shake with a little of DaVinci’s Sugar Free butter rum flavoring in it.

Thanks for stopping by my Medifast Blog and take care until tomorrow. And don’t forget, for a limited time Get 2 weeks of Medifast FREE! (Enter code GetTwo).

2 More Days till the Weekend

analyzingdiets.com

Thanks for stopping by Analyzing Medifast Diet.

I felt real good this morning, hopped out of bed and jumped into the shower. And after showering had a bowl of Oatmeal and a cup of green tea. Had a little time to catch up on some forums I belong to, and then it was time to head off to work. The morning at work was fairly busy and it scooted on past pretty quickly. For my mid morning meal I had a Orange creme shake. Had a lot of deposits today, all of those cash Christmas presents. haha

For lunch today one of my Medifast buddies and myself sat together, the other person was sick today, I think there is something going around, we have had a lot of people with coughs and sneezing at work, I sure hope I don’t catch anything. I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup with Tabasco and a few multi-grain crackers. My friend had soup also. The weather is getting bad and it is supposed to rain tomorrow, I think there is a front coming through.

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly do to the amount of business we had. I like that, after today we have one more and I am ready for a long weekend, even after being off for a while. I wish I could figure out how to make money on the Internet so I could work for myself, maybe that is a good New Years resolution to try and get independent from working for someone else. I will have to look in to that thought.

When I arrived home today I had another shake, strawberry creme this time. I decided to do my walk because I might not get to tomorrow, it just depends on what this weather is going to do. I walked for 50 minutes today, broke my record haha. I hope this walking facilitates the weight coming off faster. Maybe I should get a membership at a health club….something to ponder.

When I got back I decided to take down my Christmas decorations, I didn’t have much except my artificial Christmas Tree and a wreath on the door. Back to the attic until next year. I wonder what this new year will have in store for the new me? For my lean and green meal I finished up the leftovers from Christmas Dinner, 7oz of roast turkey and I had a small cup and a half salad.

Watched a little TV and piddled around on the Internet for a bit. Finished the day off with a chocolate mint granola bar, then decided to go to bed and read.

Thanks for reading my Medifast Blog as always I truly appreciate it and hope I am inspiring others who are in my position. Take Care until tomorrow!
