Hump Day Here Again

analyzingdiets.com

Good morning everyone and another cold one at that. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to read my Medifast Blog.

I started the morning off with a bowl of apple and cinnamon oatmeal and a cup of green tea. Answered a few emails before I had to go. I received a really nasty message on MySpace the other day. You know it is really sad that some people go through their lives so hateful and angry inside, and it seems that since they are so miserable that their mission in life is to spew hate and try and make everyone else feel like them. Does it bother me personally? No not one bit, in fact I kind of feel sorry for them, and wonder what kind of traumatized childhood that they lead to make them have become like they are.

Work today was busy again, which is a good thing since it makes the time go by faster. Still cashing a lot of paychecks, on top of the normal retail shops that come to deposit daily. For my mid-morning meal I had a orange creme shake in my Medifast plan shaker cup. The rest of the morning went by at a steady pace and before you knew it, it was time for a break.

For lunch today I had soup again, I like to have soup on cold days. Today I had the hearty beef stew, with Tabasco and yes multi-grain crackers. My medifast friends had soup again today, I guess they have the hot soup belief that I do.

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, but I didn’t have to stay late today. I’m sure the supervisor is happy about that, they hate when we get overtime. On the way home today I had a oatmeal raisin granola bar for my 4th meal of the day, and stopped by my local mult-purpose “sell everything” store, you know which one I am talking about. Walked around for an hour just shopping around, It’s a good way to get your exercise knocked out and not be in the elements.

I worked on the Blog a little catching up on some posts that I got lazy on, and I surfed around on the Net a bit.

For my lean and green meal today I kept it easy and cooked a 7oz boneless, skinless chicken breast in the oven and chopped it up and added it to 2 cups of mixed greens and 2 Tbs of low-fat ranch, for my staple grilled chicken salad. Well it was a baked chicken salad today.

Watched a little TV and had a cappucino for my last meal, and shortly after that retired to the bedroom to read a bit before passing out. Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet. I appreciate it. Until tomorrow, take care.

Too Busy to Lose Weight? 1 Free Week of Medifast.

It’s Cold

Lose weight with Medifast!

Woke up this morning and didn’t want to get out of bed. It’s too cold, I think I’ll stay right here. Well at least it would be nice to have that choice, unfortunately I am not independently wealthy, so I have to get my lazy butt up and brave the cold. Thanks for stopping by Analyzing Medifast Diet.

Started the morning off with a hot shower to warm my bones, then I had a french vanilla shake for breakfast, and not long after that it was time to brave the weather. My now over sized coat felt good. And it was a busy morning, but not as busy as most paydays, maybe the weather has something to do with it. Nevertheless it was still busy and the morning flew by. For my mid morning meal I had a caramel nut granola bar, since I was unable to get away from my station. The rest of the morning went by quickly and it was time to take a short break.

Soup today, Hot soup, chicken and wild rice to be exact with Tabasco yeah! Also had some mult-grain crackers to go along with it. All of the other Medifast people here ate soup also haha.

Back to work, many more checks to cash, and clean money to handle (sarcastic). The day flew by, the warmer it got the more people came in, and I ended up having to stay an hour and a half later catching up.

When I arrived home I had a dutch chocolate shake, and went for my exercise. It’s nice to exercise in cold weather, so you don’t get to overheated and sweaty. Just wait till summer, I am not looking forward to it. I tend to like cold weather more than hot.

For my lean and green meal for the day, I hadn’t had any fish in a while, so I grilled a 7oz piece of salmon on the grill outside and fixed a cup and a half of steamed cauliflower seasoned with some lemon pepper. It turned out great, salmon is my favorite fish and tuna steaks run a close second.

The rest of the evening was uneventful with me just piddling about and watching a little TV. For my final meal of the day I had a banana pudding.

Thank you for reading my Medifast Blog take care until next time. Good luck on your healthy lifestyles. You can do it!

Martin Luther King Day

analyzingdiets.com

Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet and happy Martin Luther King day.
No unfortunately I am not off today, so get my butt up, damn it is cold this morning. A hot shower fixed that up real quick, and a cup of hot green tea. I also had a bowl of peach oatmeal. Now that I am warm, it is time to go outside. Brrr I thought winter was almost over… yeah right. Work was busy this morning but it will be real busy tomorrow for payday. For my midmorning meal I had a oatmeal raisin granola bar. The morning flew by today due to the amount of customers that we had.

For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup with Tabasco and some multi-grain crackers. My friends had soups also. Cold weather = soups. I also would like to say a few things about Martin Luther King. I probably will tell you things you already know, but maybe someone out there will learn something. As most of you know he was a great leader in the equal rights movement in the 60’s. But maybe you didn’t know these bits of info: He was the youngest man to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, he was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Jimmy Carter, In 2004, King was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal.

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, I like when that happens. When I got home I drank a strawberry creme shake, and decided I was going to brave the weather and get my exercise in. I had to be careful due to the icy conditions, I didn’t want anyone to find me lying in the street with something broken. When I got back I took a hot shower more or less to warm up. I got on the Internet and surfed around trying to educate myself. If you are in need of shedding a few pounds, please do yourself a favor and check out the one and only  Clinically Proven Medifast Meal Replacement Diet.

For my lean and green meal today I had a 5 oz pork cutlet with a cup and a half of steamed green beans, I seasoned the pork with some garlic salt and onion powder and seared it in a pan with olive oil. And the beans were seasoned with lemon pepper and salt wrapped in aluminum foil with some water and popped into the oven until they were tender. After dinner and actually during dinner I watched a little TV (24). I will be hooked on this show all season now. Kiefer Sutherland is probably my favorite actor, ever since I saw The Lost Boys.

For my last meal of the day I had a French vanilla shake. Thanks for visiting my Medifast Blog, take care and good luck on you weight loss journeys.

Favorite Day

analyzingdiets.com Hi all and welcome to my Medifast Blog. Sundays are weigh in day and it is always exciting to see how much more progress I have made. Ok so for the weight update. Last Sunday I weighed in at 207. Drumroll please this week I weighed in at 203. One more week and I am going to not have a 2 in front of my weight anymore, and it will be the first time since I can even remember. I started out at 247 and have came down to 203 that is a total of 44 lbs, I am almost halfway to my goal. I started this happy morning off with a bowl of maple and brown sugar oatmeal and my usual cup of green tea. I am so glad that I did my errands yesterday, because it is freezing cold today. Today will be a hibernating day, like a big bear. But I am disappointed because the weather is permitting me from getting my exercise. I looked around on craigslist for some exercise equipment, and found a few things. I need to follow up on them. For my mid morning meal I drank a orange creme shake. Since I cannot get out and exercise, I am going to try and make up for it by cleaning up around the house. I have my usual laundry to do anyways, but I will vacuum and do some other stuff also. Some lady is going to be lucky to get me haha I’m domesticated. For lunch today I had a bowl of creamy tomato soup with some zucchini and squash in it, I also spiced it up with some spices and put a small pinch of low-fat cheese on it. Not too bad, these soups can be jazzed up to be real good, but you have to be creative. I did have to take the movie back today, so I got out in the weather a bit, I covered my outside plants and made sure my outside water spigots were wrapped up real good, you can’t be too careful, if you get a busted water pipe (shudder) the damages could be really high. For my 4th medifast plan meal of the day I had a chocolate mint granola bar, I don’ like to take these to work for fear of having chocolate all over my face. I can hear it now, “no wonder he is so fat look at the chocolate all over his mouth” so I tend to eat these at home and take the least messy ones to work. For my lean and green meal today, I didn’t feel like doing much so I baked a chicken breast in the oven, seasoned with some lemon pepper and garlic salt and black pepper. I also had a cup and a half of steamed broccoli with some lemon pepper on it also. Watched the season premier of 24, and once you watch one you can’t quit (like Lay’s Potato Chips). For my final meal I had a Dutch chocolate shake and not long after that went to bed to read a bit. Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet. Take Care until tomorrow. I Love Saturdays

analyzingdiets.com

Hi all, thanks for stopping by Analyzing Medifast Diet.

Can you say Cold Snap? My goodness I thought this cold weather was starting to fade out, but in comes this. I am thankful for being off today. Now the decision is to go do errands today or wait tomorrow and risk worse weather. Hmmmm decisions decisions. This morning I ate a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and drank a cup of green tea. After a shower I watched the news a bit, and saw that the weather is supposed to be worse tomorrow, therefore errands today.

I grabbed a caramel nut granola bar and headed off to the store, I really need to get some new clothes. I have no summer clothes that fit me anymore, and very few winter clothes, only the ones I received for Christmas and the little I bought a few weeks ago.

Got back home after fighting a madhouse at the store, I think everyone decided to go today at the same time. Also I dropped by the movie store and got a movie I have been wanting to see for a while, it is a Japanese Animation by Hayao Miyazaki entitled “Howls Moving Castle”. This movie was recommended by my cousin who is a big Anime Fan, now I normally do not like this type of thing but she insisted that I watch it and I wouldn’t be sorry. So I’ll be adventurous and give it a try, not to mention it was picked up by Disney.

For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup, spiced up with some cayenne pepper and also had some multi-grain crackers. Decided to work on the Blog a bit and just pass some time surfing the net and seeing what mischief I can get into. I found this vegetarian site at Go Veg.

For my fourth meal of the day I drank a French vanilla shake with some DaVinci Sugar-Free Butter Rum Syrup, and I blended it with some ice in the blender. MMM delicious.

Tonight for my lean and green meal I am going to try one of the recipes that I have on my site here it is:

Orange chicken 1/4 tsp Crystal Lite Orange Drink powder, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1/4 tsp mexican seasoning, pinch pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp water, 1/4 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, 7 oz chicken, 1/2 onion diced, 1 green pepper chopped. Mix everything except the veggies and chicken and put aside. Cook veggies in a pan with Pam or a little oil over a medium heat until soft. Add sauce and diced chicken and stir until warm.

I watched the movie when I ate my lean and green meal, the recipe was ok, it didn’t blow me away. I need to find some more recipes and put up here. The movie was excellent, I am glad that I took my little cousins advice and watched it. It was about a magician that had a curse on him during a period of war. Now I want to see more from Miyazaki. He has KiKi’s Delivery Service and Spirited Away to name a couple.

For my final meal I ate a banana pudding. Thanks for checking out my Medifast Blog. Take Care and see you tomorrow.

TGIF

analyzingdiets.com

Thank God It’s Friday! And Thank you for reading my Medifast Blog.

I woke up feeling a little tired today, maybe it’s the weather, it is feeling nippy today. I think this bad weather we have been having has brought in a cold front. I started my day off with a cup of green tea and a bowl of peach oatmeal. My doctors appointment is today so I will be leaving work a little early today. The appointment is a checkup to see how I am coming along on my diet.

The morning at work was steady again it will steadily get busier and busier until payday. My mid morning meal was a strawberry creme shake. The rest of the morning went by fairly quickly. The supervisor was in a pissy mood today so I tried to keep a low profile. I was going to remind him I had to leave early today, but it has already been authorized so I am just going to sneak out if possible so I don’t have to hear any crap from him. haha

For lunch today I had a bowl of beef stew, spiced up with a little Tabasco and also had my snack I am allowed of some multi-grain crackers with my stew. I bet the doctor will be surprised when he sees me today. I haven’t seen him since November and I have lost about 20 lbs since then. I have been feeling great and my clothes are too big, A great sign.

The afternoon until I had to leave went by at a snails pace, probably since I was looking at the clock over and over. But it finally arrived and I snuck out to my doctors appointment. My doctor is close by, so it was a quick 15 minute trip. Of course as in all Dr visits I had to wait way past my appointment time. I don’t understand appointment times if you are going to wait 30-45 minutes past it anyways.

The checkup went great, everything looks good, my blood pressure is good and I will get blood test results in a few days. The nurses all couldn’t be quiet of how great I looked. And the Doctor was very complimentary also, talk about making a guy feel good. lol If you want to feel good also,  right now for a limited time Get 2 weeks of Medifast FREE! (Enter code GetTwo).

When I arrived home I had a chocolate mint granola bar, I had to skip my exercise today because of the weather, so instead I got on Craigslist to see if I could find a exercise machine. Have you ever looked on Craiglist? It is like a big classified ad, sorted city by city.

For my lean and green meal today I had a turkey patty, with some salsa on top and some steamed green beans, a cup and a half to be exact. It turned out good, I call it my Southwest Turkey burger. Blogged a bit and looked around on the Internet. Digg.com is one of my frequently visited sites I like. If you have never been there, go check it out. It is a news site that started out as technology news but has taken on many more categories, and basically the users vote on the stories and determine what makes the front page.

For my last meal of the day I had a orange creme shake and not long after that, went to bed and read.

Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet. See you tomorrow. Hello Weekend!

Good to be Alive

analyzingdiets.com

Welcome to Analyzing Medifast Diet, I appreciate your visit.

Feeling good again this morning, I remember when I had first started on the Medifast Plan there were many days I woke up feeling like total crap. Those days are few and far between now, which is great. I ate a bowl of maple and brown sugar oatmeal this morning and my normal cup of hot green tea. Answered some emails and straightened up the kitchen a bit. Before I knew it time crept up on me and it was time to head off to work. Grabbed my water bottle and took off.

The bank was steady this morning, I had no time for nothing else but what I was supposed to be doing in the first place lol. For my mid morning meal I ate a caramel nut granola bar while I worked. The rest of the morning was uneventful and passed by at a medium pace. I was reading the other night about the most anticipated movies for this year, I wont list them all but how about the top 5.

Spiderman 3
Pirates of the Caribbean “At World’s End”
Harry Potter “Order of the Phoenix”
300 - About 300 Spartans that faced off against the Persian army
Grindhouse - Quentin Tarantino - Need I say more?

For lunch today I ate a bowl of chicken noodle soup with Tabasco and some multi-grain crackers. My Medifast friends had a strawberry shake and the other had a chocolate mint granola bar. So far the first person I had recommended to the Medifast Plan has lost 18 lbs and the other who kind of faltered a bit has lost 7 lbs. They are doing well.

The rest of the day went by again at a steady pace. When I arrived home I had a Dutch chocolate shake with some DaVinci sugar-free cherry syrup in it. The weather today was not that nice but I managed to get my exercise in none the less. I have been thinking of getting either a tread mill or an exercise bike so I can get my exercise in no matter what the weather might be. I still prefer the outdoors though.

Took a shower afterwards and got on the Internet for a little studying and blogging, I am going to take the easy Lean and Green tonight and make a grilled chicken salad. I started the chicken breast to marinating in some olive oil and some chopped up fresh herbs. (rosemary, thyme, basil and parsley) When it was time for supper I grilled the chicken on the outside grill, chopped it up and put it on 2 cups of mixed greens with 2 Tbs of fat free ranch.

Watched a bit of TV tonight and had a cup of Medifast Cappuccino for my last meal. Read a bit and went to bed. Thanks for reading my Medifast Blog. Goodnight.

Half the Week Done

Medifast Diet - lose the weight

Half the week is done and it is all down hill from here. Welcome to Analyzing Medifast Diet and a special welcome to all of my Myspace friends. Thanks for stopping by.

Feeling Good this morning. Started the day off with a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and my usual cup of hot green tea. I was unable to make my normally scheduled post, my Internet and Cable was out for most of the day. Thanks Comcast, I think I will call and get a credit to my account for that day just to prove a point.

The morning at work was fairly steady, there were a few lulls, but not too bad. For mid morning I drank a French vanilla shake. Had some time to check a few emails today and delete the crap. I get so tired of all the junk emails I get a day. No I don’t need viagra or cialis, no I didn’t win the lottery because I didn’t enter, and No I don’t want to help the poor ex prince in Africa who needs to transfer 15 million dollars to America with my help. Jeez it is never ending.

For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup. my friends had a bowl of creamy tomato and the other had a shake. The one friend I told you about that was having some problems seems to have refocused and has gotten back on track. Good luck girl, you can do it!

The rest of the day was boring and nothing to mention, no pissed off customers and no robberies. whew Actually I have never experienced any scary thing at the bank, and knock on wood hopefully never will. When I arrived home today I had a Granola bar and then went for my walk.

Had a shower and watched a little TV, then caught up on the Blog posts here. I don’t know what I want to eat for dinner tonight, I feel like something different, but I don’t feel like making anything. haha What a predicament. I finally decided to cook a 5oz pork loin seasoned with some herbs and garlic, I also fixed some bean sprouts and cucumbers in a vinegar sauce.

Watched a little TV some more and had another shake for my final meal.

Take Care and thanks for reading my Medifast Blog.

Top of the Morning to Ya

analyzingdiets.com

Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet.com

Woke up feeling Great this morning. For breakfast I had a cup of green tea and a bowl of cinnamon apple oatmeal. I have been drinking green tea now for about a month, I had a cup of coffee the other day and Oh my God! I had the shakes so bad and my heart was racing. It is funny how your body gets used to something after a bit and you don’t feel any effects, but then when you try it again it’s like Bam, it hits you right between the eyes. No more coffee for me, and to think I used to drink 2-4 cups a day. I couldn’t do that now.

After checking some email, it was time to head off to work. Loaded up the car and grabbed my water bottle and took off. The morning was pretty steady so it passed by fairly quick. My midmorning meal was a French vanilla shake. The rest of the morning was more of the same and nothing notable to talk about, unless you want me to bore you to tears. lol

For lunch break today I had a bowl of creamy tomato soup, with a very small bit of no-fat cheese and multi-grain crackers, of course I had to add the usual Tabasco, now I have stated in the past that the soups are not that great, but this was really good. I think Medifast listened to their customers and changed the soups up a bit, hence no more Minestrone.

The rest of the day was boring so I am not going to comment on it, Jeez I would like to you to come back. LOL When I arrived home today I ate a chocolate granola bar. I decided to go for my exercise, I walked for 1 hour at a quickened pace (well quickened for me at least). Hopped into the shower when I got back home.

I surfed the net a bit and found this cool site that had some great photographs on it, I am a bit of a photograph buff, someday I would like to get more serious about it. You can check out the site here.

For my lean and green meal today I had a 5oz lean ground beef patty with lettuce and tomato, and a cup and a half of zucchini squash mix. It was nice and filling, It doesn’t take as much to make me full anymore. : )

For my final meal I had a strawberry creme shake. I hope everybody had a great day, thanks for reading my Medifast Blog. Take Care!

Too Busy to Lose Weight? 1 Free Week of Medifast.

Back to the Grind

analyzingdiets.com

Back to work today and I am not excited about it, but as I always say the bills will not pay there selves, so had to get up and start moving. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedules to read my Medifast Blog, it is truly appreciated.

To start the day off today I had a Vanilla Creme shake with some Davinci Sugar Free Butter rum flavoring in it. It’s really good, if you are on the Medifast Plan you have to get some of these syrups. I have seen them in Kroger and Wal-mart near the coffee section, so look out for them, or you can order online. Speaking of ordering online act now while supplies last, for a short time Get 2 weeks of Medifast FREE! (Enter code GetTwo).

I packed up my stuff, backseat full of assorted Medifast plan products, filled up my water bottle and headed off to work to start my week. The morning was slow, so I surfed the Internet a little to pass the time, you know if you think about it I don’t know why I dread coming to work sometimes, the job is really easy. For my mid morning meal I had a orange creme shake. The rest of the morning was un-eventful.

One of my medifast friends is not doing well I found out, and has been slipping a lot on her diet, I will try and give her as much encouragement as I can, but as I have said in the past unless you are 100% committed to loosing weight then you will slip over and over. For lunch today I had a bowl of beef vegetable stew with some multi-grain crackers. I had been reading some more infor on the cloned animal subject. It gets my blood boiling every time I think about it. You can read more about it here.

The rest of the day drug out and it seemed like I worked 16 hours versus 8. On the way home I ate a chocolate mint granola bar. When I arrived home I decided to go for my exercise around the neighborhood and practically got attacked by a dog. I am not an animal hater, but I really don’t like dogs. I feel it is un-fair to the dogs to be cooped up in a backyard and forgotten. And that’s what the majority of dog owners do. No walking them no playing with them, just stick them in the backyard and yell at them once in a while. I even see people keeping them on the balcony of apartments. Sick!

For my lean and green meal today I fixed my usual grilled chicken salad, because I didn’t feel like thinking of anything to cook. I just vegged out the rest of the day, took a shower watched TV, and messed around on the Internet a bit, nothing exciting.

For my final meal I had a banana pudding. Yummy! I have to pace myself on these because you only get 7 with your month order, so I try and have a couple a week. Well that is all for tonight. Thanks for reading Analyzing Medifast Diet. See you tomorrow.
