Thanks for visiting Analyzing Medifast Diet and happy Martin Luther King day.
No unfortunately I am not off today, so get my butt up, damn it is cold this morning. A hot shower fixed that up real quick, and a cup of hot green tea. I also had a bowl of peach oatmeal. Now that I am warm, it is time to go outside. Brrr I thought winter was almost over… yeah right. Work was busy this morning but it will be real busy tomorrow for payday. For my midmorning meal I had a oatmeal raisin granola bar. The morning flew by today due to the amount of customers that we had.

For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup with Tabasco and some multi-grain crackers. My friends had soups also. Cold weather = soups. I also would like to say a few things about Martin Luther King. I probably will tell you things you already know, but maybe someone out there will learn something. As most of you know he was a great leader in the equal rights movement in the 60’s. But maybe you didn’t know these bits of info: He was the youngest man to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, he was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Jimmy Carter, In 2004, King was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal.

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, I like when that happens. When I got home I drank a strawberry creme shake, and decided I was going to brave the weather and get my exercise in. I had to be careful due to the icy conditions, I didn’t want anyone to find me lying in the street with something broken. When I got back I took a hot shower more or less to warm up. I got on the Internet and surfed around trying to educate myself. For my lean and green meal today I had a 5 oz pork cutlet with a cup and a half of steamed green beans, I seasoned the pork with some garlic salt and onion powder and seared it in a pan with olive oil. And the beans were seasoned with lemon pepper and salt wrapped in aluminum foil with some water and popped into the oven until they were tender. After dinner and actually during dinner I watched a little TV (24). I will be hooked on this show all season now. Kiefer Sutherland is probably my favorite actor, ever since I saw The Lost Boys.

For my last meal of the day I had a French vanilla shake. Thanks for visiting my Medifast Blog, take care and good luck on you weight loss journeys.
