I Love Saturdays

Hi all, thanks for stopping by Analyzing Medifast Diet.
Can you say Cold Snap? My goodness I thought this cold weather was starting to fade out, but in comes this. I am thankful for being off today. Now the decision is to go do errands today or wait tomorrow and risk worse weather. Hmmmm decisions decisions. This morning I ate a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and drank a cup of green tea. After a shower I watched the news a bit, and saw that the weather is supposed to be worse tomorrow, therefore errands today.
I grabbed a caramel nut granola bar and headed off to the store, I really need to get some new clothes. I have no summer clothes that fit me anymore, and very few winter clothes, only the ones I received for Christmas and the little I bought a few weeks ago.
Got back home after fighting a madhouse at the store, I think everyone decided to go today at the same time. Also I dropped by the movie store and got a movie I have been wanting to see for a while, it is a Japanese Animation by Hayao Miyazaki entitled “Howls Moving Castle”. This movie was recommended by my cousin who is a big Anime Fan, now I normally do not like this type of thing but she insisted that I watch it and I wouldn’t be sorry. So I’ll be adventurous and give it a try, not to mention it was picked up by Disney.
For lunch today I had a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup, spiced up with some cayenne pepper and also had some multi-grain crackers. Decided to work on the Blog a bit and just pass some time surfing the net and seeing what mischief I can get into. I found this vegetarian site at Go Veg.
For my fourth meal of the day I drank a French vanilla shake with some DaVinci Sugar-Free Butter Rum Syrup, and I blended it with some ice in the blender. MMM delicious.
Tonight for my lean and green meal I am going to try one of the recipes that I have on my site here it is:
Orange chicken 1/4 tsp Crystal Lite Orange Drink powder, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1/4 tsp mexican seasoning, pinch pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp water, 1/4 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, 7 oz chicken, 1/2 onion diced, 1 green pepper chopped. Mix everything except the veggies and chicken and put aside. Cook veggies in a pan with Pam or a little oil over a medium heat until soft. Add sauce and diced chicken and stir until warm.
I watched the movie when I ate my lean and green meal, the recipe was ok, it didn’t blow me away. I need to find some more recipes and put up here. The movie was excellent, I am glad that I took my little cousins advice and watched it. It was about a magician that had a curse on him during a period of war. Now I want to see more from Miyazaki. He has KiKi’s Delivery Service and Spirited Away to name a couple.
For my final meal I ate a banana pudding. Thanks for checking out my Medifast Blog. Take Care and see you tomorrow.
